We’d love to help educate you in our different services to help you decide. Also, if you have a preference of a male or female therapist, be sure to request it when booking your appointment.
Tips Before the Spa
There’s not much you have to do prior to your appointment, besides taking a shower to get cleaned up. If you’re not able to dash home, don’t worry. We have showers available for you to use before or after your scheduled appointment.
If you’ll be getting a massage, it’s important to be hydrated prior to arriving, but drinking too much water before might require a pit-stop in the middle of your session. Be aware of your water intake, and the same goes for food. You’ll be on your tummy, huge meals before your session might make it uncomfortable.
Arriving at the Spa
Arrive Early! You’ll be thankful that you took the time before a treatment to relax in our peaceful environment. If you’ll be receiving a massage, arrive at least 30 minutes prior for your first appointment. This will allow time to complete a questionnaire, use the restroom as well as undress and slip under the sheets.
Remember, this time is for you to unwind. Turn off or silence your phone, and the distractions in your mind. It’s also a spa etiquette so as not to disturb others that are trying to relax around you.
During Your Service
If you’re receiving a massage, you may wonder what the undressing procedure is! While, it’s what you are comfortable with, some people undress completely, while others leave their undergarments on. You’ll be able to slip under the sheets before your therapist comes in. The only body part that will be exposed, is the one being massaged. You decide what body parts you’d like massaged, and let us know what you’d prefer not to be massaged.
During your massage, be sure to let your therapist know if you’re having any aches, pains or areas you’d like extra attention on. If you’d like less pressure, more pressure, the table is too warm or cold be sure to kindly let your therapist know. They want you to have an enjoyable experience.
After Your Service
It’s customary to tip your therapist 15-20%, you can tip up front or take a tip envelope from the front desk to leave a tip in the room.
Showers are available for your use after appointment, you’ll be able to wash away any residual oils used from your massage.
